🎉 Welcome to Postcards
Now you’re officially a Postcards member. After registration, the top menu bar in the editor will expand with new items and options:
- Project Title – click on it to rename your project at any time.
- Green Dot (Status) – indicates your project is saved, hovering over it will show the exact time of the last save.
- Orange Dot – autosave in progress.
- Upgrade – takes you directly to the pricing plans if you want to unlock more features.
- Avatar Menu – clicking on your avatar reveals:
a. Profile – manage your account details.
b. Team – invite and manage teammates.
c. Help – access documentation and support.
d. Logout – safely exit your account.
Good to know: Autosave is enabled by default, so you don’t need to manually save your project. Any changes you make will be stored automatically.
Upgrade Your Plan
Clicking Upgrade will open a separate new tab, so your ongoing project remains safe and uninterrupted.
From here, you can choose the plan that best fits your needs:
- Start – free forever, limited functionality.
- Plus – ideal for individuals or small teams.
- Pro – full power for larger teams and advanced use cases.
Don’t forget to use the slider toggle to switch between monthly and yearly pricing. Yearly billing helps you save money compared to paying month-to-month.
Profile
Selecting Profile will redirect you to your Account Settings page. From here, you can manage and update all your personal information:
- Avatar Image
- Upload a new profile picture from your computer.
- Or use Gravatar to sync your avatar across multiple platforms.
- Public Name (Nickname)
- Change the name displayed to your teammates.
- This doesn’t affect your login details.
- Personal Details
- Update your first name, last name, and email address.
- Edit your invoice details (useful for billing if you’re on a paid plan).
- Password Management
- Update your password at any time for security.
Under the Privacy tab, you can:
- Export your data – download a copy of your personal data stored in Postcards.
- Erase your data – request to permanently delete your personal information if you decide to stop using Postcards.
Team
Clicking on Team in the profile menu will redirect you to the Invite a Teammate page.
Here you can manage collaboration by inviting new members, assigning roles (viewer, editor, or owner), and monitoring pending invitations.
For a full walkthrough of this functionality, see the Invite a Teammate page.
Help
Clicking Help in the profile menu opens a support popup on the right side of the screen.
Inside, you’ll find two main tabs:
Answers – Access documentation, guides, and instant solutions. You can scroll through available topics or use the search bar to quickly locate what you need.
Ask – If you can’t find the right answer or have a unique question, switch to this tab to contact support directly. Just type your query, and the team will get back to you.
This ensures you always have fast access to resources - whether through self-service or direct assistance.
Logout
Selecting Logout will safely exit you from Postcards.
This is useful when you need to:
- Switch to a client’s account
- Log in with another email address
