How to Cancel a Designmodo Subscription
If you want to avoid auto-renewal of your subscription, you can cancel/terminate/deactivate it from your Designmodo account. You can continue using the App up until the subscription expiration date.
How to Cancel a Subscription
Log in to your Designmodo account and click the Subscription tab. Click the View button.

On the opened page, click the Cancel button to cancel the subscription for the App.

After you cancel the subscription, you will see a confirmation message. You can also restart a subscription using the Reactivate button.

How plan cancellation affects Additional Teammate subscriptions
When you cancel your main subscription plan, any connected add-on subscriptions (such as Additional Teammate seats or Additional Websites for Slides) are automatically tied to that plan.
This means:
- There is no need to manually cancel the Additional Teammate subscription separately
- Once the main plan fully expires, all connected add-ons are canceled automatically
- The main plan and any add-ons remain active and usable until the end of the current billing cycle
How to remove extra editors while keeping your main plan active
If you want to keep your main plan but stop paying for extra editor seats, you can remove or downgrade the additional teammates instead of canceling the subscription.
Each plan includes a limited number of free Editor seats:
- Pro plan includes 3 Editors
- Plus plan includes 1 Editor
- Any Editors beyond that are billed as Additional Teammate add-ons ($8/month per Editor)
To remove an extra paid seat:
- Click your Avatar → Workspace settings
- Find the teammate(s) creating the extra seat charge
Click the three dots (⋯) next to their name
Choose one of the following:
- Remove — fully removes them from the team
- Change role to Viewer — Viewers are free on all plans (only Editors count toward paid seats)

Once the extra Editor seat is removed, the additional charge disappears and will not renew.
This allows you to keep your main plan active while controlling editor-related costs.
